This ashes bead charm has a 5mm hole and will fit 3-5mm pandora and similar branded and unbranded charm bracelets. The overall size of the ashes charm is approx 10x11mm and will sit very well alongside Pandora branded charms.
The heart shaped bracelet charm is stainless steel, non tarnishing and hypoallergenic.
I will personally fill the charm with the colour of your choice and a small amount of either cremation ashes, hair or pet fur. I am happy to work with both human and pet inclusions.
If you are sending hair or fur, I recommend chooing a pearl colour for the best effect. Also please be aware that light coloured or grey hair may not show up well in the resin particularly if it is very fine. Often, funeral directors will separate out a small amount of ashes or a lock of hair for the purpose of making keepsakes. If you have this, you are welcome to send the bag as it is, you do not need to handle the ashes any further if you don't want to. If the ashes have not been separated out, or you would prefer to separate them further, you can request a collection kit which will include a small bag big enough to hold around a teaspoon of ashes. Please do not send any more than a teaspoon as this will be more than enough for multiple orders. Any ashes that are not used in your order will be sent back to you with your jewellery. Alternatively, if you think you might want more items in the future, you can request for the ashes to be stored safely with me to save sending them through the post any more than necessary.
Your ashes bracelet charm will be presented in one of our beautiful eco friendly drawer style gift boxes, it will be packaged in a strong mailing box with tissue wrap along with any left over ashes, and aftercare sheet. I can also provide a certificate of authenicity if you would like one, don't forget to let me know the name you would like to have on it. Stainless steel is an excellent alternative to sterling silver. It is extremely durable and does not scratch easily, it is also a slightly cheaper way to get some ashes jewellery so its great if you are trying to keep costs down without compromising on quality.
However if you would prefer the charm in sterling silver it is available here: Ashes in Resin Silver heart bead (fits pandora)
How much ashes do you need? I generally ask for around a teaspoon of ashes, although that is way more than I actually need it gives me a good amount to be able to pick out the very best ashes for your jewellery.
How do I send the ashes to you? You can choose whether to receive and ashes collection kit or whether to send them yourself. My ashes collection kit contains a small bag to put your ashes into, and a larger one to ensure extra protection in the post. It also includes an envelope to return the ashes in.
Where do I send the ashes to? My address will be provided in the confirmation email after you order.
Can I deliver the ashes by hand? Most customers send their ashes via royal mail, however if you would prefer to deliver them by hand, you are welcome to do so as long as the ashes are well labelled, you can pop them through my letterbox at any time.
Can I collect my finished item? All orders will be posted out by Royal mail. I do not offer a collection service. This is due to the fact that I cannot be disturbed when I am in the middle of making someones precious memorial jewellery.
What happens to any leftover ashes? Any leftover ashes will be returned to you unless you request for me to store them. If you think you might like to order more jewellery in the future and do not want to keep sending your ashes backwards and forwards in the post, I am happy to store up to a teaspoon worth of ashes for you. All ashes are stored in well labelled bags attached to your original order details. If you wish to use ashes in future please make sure you keep a note of the order number.

Can I come and choose my jewellery in person? Lasting Touch is an online business and I do not keep product samples available to view. Most of the items you see on my website and social media pages are of customer orders, so I no longer have them. If you want to see additional photos of a particular item, I can send you some by email, please just ask.
Standard turnaround times on this item are generally around 10-14 days from the date I receive your inclusions. This is not guaranteed and at busy times it can take longer. Our busiest times are generally around Christmas, Mother's Day and Father's Day in the UK. If you need to guarantee that you receive your item for a specific date, please select one of the priority turnaround options available. The selected turnaround time will begin from the date that I receive your inclusions, and not from the date you place the order.
Standard postage is using Royal Mail's tracked48 service which is usually delivered within 2-3 days. You can upgrade to tracked24 or Special Delivery at checkout. If you wish to upgrade after ordering, please contact me.
If you need your order quickly, you may prefer to send your inclusions yourself rather than waiting to receive a collection kit. This is absolutely fine, please ensure that they are labelled with your name, address and order ID number (this is the 4 digit number at the top of your order confirmation email. Please do not send the receipt number from the payment email). If you have requested a collection kit, this will be posted out to you within 2 working days and should be with you within a week. Please simply follow the instructions in the kit and return to me in the envelope provided.
A name of up to 6 letters can be engraved on the back if you wish. Please contact me to discuss options if you require more than 6 letter as this will require a smaller font. Please be aware that stainless steel is a hard metal, the engraving on hard metals is a surface engraving and will not be as clear or deep as engraving on softer metals such as silver.
Please choose from one of the colour options in the drop down menu. Ashes will work with any of the colour options. For hair or pet fur I recommend choosing from the pearl options for the best effect. Please be aware that very fine, light coloured or grey hair does not always show up very well in the resin, it may be difficult to see it in the finished piece. Dark hair generally works best. I have added my most popular colours to the chart, however I do have more colours available if you don't see exactly what you are looking for. Please scroll through the images to see some examples of the different colours. If you don't see the particular colour that you want, you can select to have a custom colour mixed.
Please note that I do not guarantee to match 'birthstone' colours as these can vary greatly and natural gemstones will never look the same as resin created stones. I may be able to produce a colour that is similar to a particular birthstone, but it will not be an exact match. There is a small additional charge for opal colours, just due to the cost of the material. I use a high quality synthetic opal to ensure that I get consistent colours and effects. Opal is a stunning material that produces an iridescent shine, you will often see flecks of greens and blue in all of the opal colours, even if you choose pink or purple for example. this is the natural effect of opal.
All of the mica powders that I use are also 100% ethically sourced.

I will always try to set ashes in the style that you see in my product photos. I will make them as visible as possible unless requested otherwise. If you would prefer the ashes to be more discreet or completely hidden, I can do that, just let me know. Do keep in mind that ashes are unique and will all look different, for the most visible ashes try to send me more coarse ashes rather than fine, dusty ones.
See the main product description for more details regarding suitability of specific items. Most items can be set with ashes. hair or fur, exceptions are items with very small or fiddly fill areas such as tiny Italian charms, and channel beads.
