All the photographs on this site are for information purposes only and due to the handmade nature of each piece of jewellery, small differences will occur.
Each item of handmade jewellery is hand polished which means there will always be an organic feel to the piece. I do not try to create a factory ‘mass produced’ effect with the jewellery. . There may be some markings on the back or slight imperfections on the surface which make your charm 100% unique.
On the ordering page please ensure you complete details carefully and clearly especially spellings of names and correct dates etc for inscriptions. I cannot be held responsible for any errors on items of jewellery resulting from incorrect details given.
Please note that children under six months old and sometimes older may not have defined fingerprints. It is entirely up to you at what age you choose to take a fingerprint impression for a young child. Many find that any impression is unique and special leading them to go ahead with fingerprint jewellery when the child is very young.
On receipt of your online order I will post out an appropriate kit (if requested). Please let me know if you have not received your kit within 7 days. If you fail to notifiy me of non receipt within 7 days there will be a charge for a replacement kit to be sent.
Full instructions for taking prints are included, Lasting Touch cannot accept responsibility for poor quality prints. If you are unhappy with your prints, please contact me and an additional print kit will be made available to you at a reduced cost.
Where repaid return postage is offered standard 2nd class post, if you which to upgrade to the signed for or special delivery service please take your return envelope to a local post office.
Repeat Orders / Return Customers
Please note that if you are ordering an item to match an existing piece of jewellery from a previous order you MUST make me aware of this at the time of ordering. I may ask you to return the original piece with your prints in order to match the size and style. If I do not have the original piece to work from I cannot guarantee a match. Each item is individually handmade and there will be slight variations in the exact measurements from piece to piece.
Changes to your order
Changes must me made in writing via email before any any work begins on your order. It is not possible to make changes to the order once your prints or inclusions are received as production will start straight away. Please note that machine engraving may be started prior to receiving your prints/inclusions and cannot be changed once it has been started.
You may cancel your order within 14 days.
When you return the prints or inclusions to me, at that point you are not able to cancel the order as I will begin to make your jewellery item. Up until that point and within 14 days, you may cancel your order by contacting me via email at email@example.com. If at the point of cancellation no impression or ashes collection kit has been sent out then you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your order after the impression kit has been posted out a charge of £10 will be made to cover the costs of the kit and postage. If you wish to return the unused print kit (at your own expense), a full refund will be given. Please note that postage charges such as for special delivery are not refundable once the kit has been posted.
It is up to you to check that you are happy with the prints before returning them.
It will take up to 28 days for me to complete your order on receipt of the print(s) or inclusions, often it will be sooner but I do not offer any guarantees with the standard service. If you need to guarantee that an item will be dispatched sooner, please select one of the priority options at checkout. If you need your items for a specific date (e.g. a birthday), please let me know.
UK postage and packaging is included in the price of orders over £50. A service charge applies on priority orders.
I cannot accept returns on items unless they are damaged or faulty on delivery. As all items are handmade and personalised I cannot accept returns on any other basis. If you need to return an item please contact me within 7 days of receipt of the item for details of how to return an item.
Faulty or damaged items
All products go through thorough testing to ensure that they are in perfect condition before they are sent to you.
Any damage to the item during transit must be reported to me within 7 days of receipt and any faults such as loose or missing cz stones must be reported with 28 days.
Please check your item carefully as soon as you receive it to make sure that you are happy that all stones are secure as I will not replace items with missing stones after this time period.
Missing stones that occur after several weeks are generally as a result of the item being knocked or caught on clothing etc, and as such I cannot be held responsible for that. Please be aware that claw set stones can be particularly susseptable to catching on clothing, so please take extra care with this type of setting. Stones which are secure at the time of sending/receipt, do not just fall out, so please rest assured that if you take good care of your jewellery the stones will remain secure.
