This beautiful simple heart design memorial ring is made from stainless steel.
Stainless steel is an incredibly durable and non tarnishing metal with the same beautiful high shine finish as silver. It is also hypoallergenic and fine for most people to wear. A small piece of fabric from your loved ones' clothing can be pemanently set into the jewellery as a momento for you to keep with you whenever you want to.

How much fabric do you need? I generally ask for around 10cm square of fabric, although that is way more than I actually need it gives me a good amount to be able to pick out the very best piece for your jewellery. If you don't have that much, it's not a problem.
How do I send the fabric to you? After you order, you will receive an email with my address and instructions for sending the fabric to me.
Can I deliver the fabric by hand? Most customers send their fabric samples via royal mail, however if you would prefer to deliver them by hand, you are welcome to do so as long as the fabric is well labelled, you can pop it through my letterbox at any time.
Can I collect my finished item? All orders will be posted out by Royal mail. I do not offer a collection service except on the 1 hour service. This is due to the fact that I cannot be disturbed when I am in the middle of making someones precious memorial jewellery.
What happens to any leftover fabric? Any leftover fabric will be returned to you unless you request for me to store it for future orders. If you think you might like to order more jewellery in the future and do not want to keep sending your fabric backwards and forwards in the post, I am happy to store a small sample for you. All fabric pieces are stored in well labelled bags attached to your original order details. If you wish to use it in future please make sure you keep a note of the order number.
Can you set ashes, hair or pet fur instead of ashes? Any of my items can be set with ashes, Some items can have hair or pet fur. Please be aware that not all hair will show up in resin, see the colour options tab for more details.
How long does it take? Please see the delivery tab for more information on how long our memorial jewellery takes to make. Delivery times can vary throughout the year.
Can I come and choose my jewellery in person? Lasting Touch is an online business and I do not keep product samples available to view. Most of the items you see on my website and social media pages are of customer orders, so I no longer have them. If you want to see additional photos of a particular item, I can send you some by email, please just ask.
From January - September standard turnaround times on this item is usually around 10-14 days from the date I receive your inclusions, however this is not guaranteed. At Christmas time (October, November, December) turnaround times can be up to 28 days. If you need to guarantee that you receive your item for a specific date, please select one of the priority turnaround options available. The selected turnaround time will begin from the date that I receive your inclusions, and not from the date you place the order. Fast turnaround orders will be shipped using the service you select at checkout. Please note that tracked48 and tracked24 services are not guaranteed. If it is important to you to guarantee a delivery date, please select special delivery. The shipping selection on the product page only guarantees that your item will be dispatched within a certain timescale, it does not guarantee what Royal Mail do after it is dispatched.
If you need your order quickly, you may prefer to send your inclusions yourself rather than waiting to receive a collection kit. This is absolutely fine, please ensure that they are labelled with your name, address and order ID number from your confirmation email. If you have requested a ring sizer or free collection kit, this will be posted out to you within 2 working days by 2nd class post and should be with you within a week. Please simply follow the instructions in the kit and return to me in the envelope provided.
1 Hour service If you need your jewellery super fast, you can deliver your inclusions to my door and pick up your order just 1 hour later! This service is only available on in stock items and is subject to available appointment slots. I recommend contacting me to confirm a convenient slot before placing your order. If necessary you can also check your ring size when delivering the ashes.
A name can be engraved on the inside of the ring if you wish.

Also of our memorial inclusions products are 316L surgical grade stainless steel. Our items are cast with great care and attention to detail, all bails are soldered.
I generally ask for around a teaspoon of ashes, although that is way more than I actually need. It gives me a good amount to be able to pick out the very best ashes for your jewellery. This is enough for multiple items.
You can choose whether to receive an ashes collection kit or whether to send them yourself. My ashes collection kit contains a small bag to put your ashes into, and a larger one to ensure extra protection in the post. It also includes an envelope to return the ashes in with prepaid 2nd class postage.
If you are sending the ashes yourself, I recommend packaging them in a small grip seal bag, ideally double bagged in case of any leaking. Please use a plastic or bubble envelope as paper can easily rip.
You can send using standard post, or a tracked service, however I prefer deliveries that do not require a signature as missed deliveries can cause a delay in processing your order.
My address will be provided in the confirmation email after you order. Please not not send any inclusions until after you have ordered and received your order number.
Collection kits are posted out every 2-3 days with standard 2nd class post, please allow around a week for delivery. If you need your item in a hurry, I recommend sending your inclusions in your own packaging..

I will always try to set ashes in the style that you see in my product photos. I will make them as visible as possible unless requested otherwise. If you would prefer the ashes to be more discreet or completely hidden, I can do that, just let me know. Do keep in mind that ashes are unique and will all look different, for the most visible ashes try to send me more coarse ashes rather than fine, dusty ones.

We have a range of colours for you to choose from, pease scroll through the images above to see examples. Pearlescent Colours - These are solid colours with a beautiful shimmer,ideal if you want very highly visible ashes. I also highly recommend choosing a pearlescent colour if you are sending hair or pet fur as this is the best base colour for that option. Crystal Colours - These are solid base colours but with added pieces of coloured crushed crystal to give the ashes stone added texture and sparkle. Opal Colours - These are extra special! We use synthetic opal to keep the colours we can offer constent, opal colours are bright and sparkly with a bit of irridescence, the luxury choice.
If non of the standard colour options suit your requirements, I can custom mix a pearlescent colour to suit your needs. Please note that I do not guarantee to match 'birthstone' colours as these can vary greatly and natural gemstones will never look the same as resin created stones. I may be able to produce a colour that is similar to a particular birthstone, but it will not be an exact match.
