This beautiful simple teardrop design memorial ring is made from stainless steel.
Stainless steel is an incredibly durable and non tarnishing metal with the same beautiful high shine finish as silver. It is also hypoallergenic and fine for most people to wear. My stainless steel rings are great for everyday wear come with a LIFETIME guarantee against the band breaking. Your loved ones cremation ashes or hair can be pemanently set into the jewellery as a momento for you to keep with you whenever you want to. Your inclusions are set into a custom made resin stone.
The ring takes only a tiny pinch of ashes or snip of hair to make. You can send the ashes or hair to me in a sealed bag yourself or I can send a collection kit.
Any unused ashes or hair will be returned to you along with your finished piece. You can request to have them stored for future orders if you prefer.
Choose from any of the colours listed (see last image). Please note that each piece is unique, there may be slight variations in the colours and it is impossible to guarantee an extact colour or pattern.
A name can be engraved on the inside of this ring. Due to the slim band, the name will be engraved on the back of the teardrop, therefore we do not engrave long messages, just single names. Thank you. If you would like a different colour to those listed, I can usually make it specially for you. Please contact me before ordering.

Most jewellery shops will check your ring size for free if you ask them nicely, alternatively you can order one of our ring sizing tools here: Finger Sizer for UK ring sizes
I generally ask for around a teaspoon of ashes, although that is way more than I actually need. It gives me a good amount to be able to pick out the very best ashes for your jewellery.
You can choose whether to receive an ashes collection kit or whether to send them yourself. My ashes collection kit contains a small bag to put your ashes into, and a larger one to ensure extra protection in the post. It also includes an envelope to return the ashes in with prepaid 2nd class postage.
If you are sending the ashes yourself, I recommend packaging them in a small grip seal bag, ideally double bagged in case of any leaking. Please use a plastic or bubble envelope as paper can easily rip.
You can send using standard post, or a tracked service, however I prefer deliveries that do not require a signature as missed deliveries can cause a delay in processing your order.
My address will be provided in the confirmation email after you order. Please not not send any inclusions until after you have ordered and received your order number.
Collection kits are posted out every 2-3 days with standard 2nd class post, please allow around a week for delivery. if you need your item in a hurry, I recommend sending your inclusions in your own packaging..
Most customers send their ashes via Royal Mail, however if you would prefer to deliver them by hand, you are welcome to do so as long as the ashes are well labelled. You can pop them through my letterbox at any time.
All orders will be posted out by Royal Mail. I do not offer a collection service as I often work irregular and changeable hours. If you are local to the SESKU area, I am happy to arrange delivery by hand.
Any leftover ashes will be returned to you unless you request for me to store them.
If you think you might like to order more jewellery in the future and do not want to keep sending your ashes backwards and forwards in the post, I am happy to store up to a teaspoon worth of ashes for you. All ashes are stored in well labelled bags attached to your original order details. If you wish to use ashes in future please make sure you keep a note of the order number.
I will always try to set ashes in the style that you see in my product photos. I will make them as visible as possible unless requested otherwise. If you would prefer the ashes to be more discreet or completely hidden, I can do that, just let me know. Do keep in mind that ashes are unique and will all look different, for the most visible ashes try to send me more coarse ashes rather than fine, dusty ones.

I ask customers to please allow up to 4 weeks for standard delivery, if I can get your order out sooner I will do, but there are no guarantees with this service.
If you need to guarantee that you receive your item for a specific date, please select one of the priority turnaround options available. The selected turnaround time will begin from the date that I receive your inclusions, and not from the date you place the order.
Standard postage is using Royal Mail's tracked48 service which is usually delivered within 2-3 days for being posted. You can upgrade to tracked24 or Special Delivery at checkout. If you wish to upgrade after ordering, please contact me.
If you need your order quickly, you may prefer to send your inclusions yourself rather than waiting to receive a collection kit.
Lasting Touch is an online business and I do not keep product samples available to view, my studio is part of my home and is not suitable for customers to visit. Most of the items you see on my website and social media pages are of customer orders, so I no longer have them. If you want to see additional photos of a particular item, I can send you some by email, please just ask.

We have a range of colours for you to choose from, pease scroll through the images above to see examples. Pearlescent Colours - These are solid colours with a beautiful shimmer,ideal if you want very highly visible ashes. I also highly recommend choosing a pearlescent colour if you are sending hair or pet fur as this is the best base colour for that option. Crystal Colours - These are solid base colours but with added pieces of coloured crushed crystal to give the ashes stone added texture and sparkle. Opal Colours - These are extra special! We use synthetic opal to keep the colours we can offer constent, opal colours are bright and sparkly with a bit of irridescence, the luxury choice.
If non of the standard colour options suit your requirements, I can custom mix a pearlescent colour to suit your needs. Please note that I do not guarantee to match 'birthstone' colours as these can vary greatly and natural gemstones will never look the same as resin created stones. I may be able to produce a colour that is similar to a particular birthstone, but it will not be an exact match.
